Book Talk Questions

Encourage lots of book talk in your class and library with over 50 different ‘book talk’ questions – designed to inspire children to think deeply about the kind of readers they are and to share their own ideas about the books they love the most.

The questions are focused more on the children as readers instead of reading skill and the questions will hopefully help children to share their favourite books together “If you could go anywhere in a story, where would you go and why?” or to think more deeply about their own reading habits “What makes you enjoy some books more than others?”.

Put these on display, share in reading lessons or stick in reading records – any way you can think of to get your class to talk about books!
